California Olive

There is nothing quite like California Olive. Regular cut has long cut lines, but we only use it “cookie-cut” because from the artistic point of view, it is the highest and best use every time. California olive is readily available in 4-6 feet in diameter slabs. Most valuable to note from a designer perspective are the fingers that form from the pitch, creating the fluted grain patterns. In addition, this wood has the unique ability to lean warm or cool depending on the epoxy accent colors.
